Hon. David Ernest Buffett AM MLA
Chief Minister
Mr Buffett, who is the longest serving Member of the Legislative Assembly of Norfolk Island, has been a member of each of the eleven Assemblies.
In this the Eleventh Assembly Mr Buffett
was elected Speaker on 27 October 2004.
He resigned as Speaker on 14
March 2006 and was appointed Minister for
Community Services on
23 February 2006.
On 2 June 2006
His Honour the Administrator
terminated the appointment
of Mr Buffett as Minister for
Community Services
and appointed him as Chief Minister.
