The General Manager is pleased to announce that the 2019-2020 round of the Community Strategic Plan Grants Program offered by the Norfolk Island Regional Council will open for applications from Monday 15 July 2019. Applications must be received no later than 4:00pm on 19 August 2019 to be considered.
Council recognises the valuable contribution individuals and community groups make to the enhancement, enrichment and liveability of Norfolk Island, and is committed to supporting initiatives to achieve the objectives within the Community Strategic Plan Our Plan for the Future 2016-2026.
Funding provided under the Community Strategic Plan Grants stream must align with one of the strategic directions in the Community Strategic Plan which are:
1: An Environmentally Sustainable community
2: A Proud, Diverse and Inclusive community
3: A Caring community
4: A Successful and Innovative community
5: An Informed and Accountable community
6: A Healthy and Safe community
The 2018-19 round was allocated to a diverse range of community activity including several focused on sport and participation; care for the environment through noxious weed eradication; support for community broadcasting, historic collections and multiple established local events. Recipients are commended for each of the completed projects and the combined efforts to invest and grow our community.

- Complete the application form online at www.norfolkisland.gov.nf/council/grants-program and submit by 4:00pm, 19 August 2019.
