Council is looking for your feedback on two vital projects, Public Reserves Plans of Management and Cats on Norfolk Island.
Public Reserves Plans of Management
Part A, is an overarching Plan with individual plans developed for each Public Reserve. As these Plans were developed in 2003 there is a need to update these resources.
Cats on Norfolk Island
It is clear that the issue of wild/feral cats is causing increasing impact on the natural wildlife, particularly ground-nesting birds.
Council has engaged a contractor to eradicate feral cats with 67 cats trapped so far this year; however a long term plan is required.
