Share your BUY LOCAL stories on Social Media (shopping experience, great products and excellent deals) and use #BUYLOCAL.
Utilise LOCAL businesses for example: insurance agents, hairdressers, panel beaters, beauticians.
Try on those clothes and shoes, test drive the electronics and try those curtains. Nothing beats personal service and being able to take your product home with you immediately.
Make sure you support other LOCAL businesses.
Buy your office supplies from a LOCAL shop.
Engage a LOCAL accountant or bookkeeper.
When replacing office furniture or fittings – buy it LOCALLY.
If you don’t stock the product that a client wants – direct them to a LOCAL shop that does!
Listen to client’s requests and if there is a genuine demand for a product try to provide it.
LOCAL businesses support and sponsor community groups so make sure you thank them by purchasing your supplies from LOCAL businesses!
Support LOCAL businesses by offering Gift Vouchers as prizes.
Try LOCAL food experiences… LOCAL produce has zero food miles!
